In this dark comedy, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler, Mark Thomsen sings the role of Pirelli, the comedic tenor Italian barber. Conducted by George Manahan, the opera uses the talents of several old friends of Mark Thomsen, shown below with Kevin Burdette (the evil Judge Turpin) and Stage Director Albert Sherman.
